I am the purchasing manager for Seven Eleven in Brooklyn, NY. Elite restaurant equipment is one of the business we have approved to do business with for our restaurant equipment purchasing. This 3 glass door commercial freezer is a very important application in our store. It comes with 3 shelves per door, but we purchase extra to maximize the space inside the freezer.
We use this item for all frozen foods, ice creams, and more. The glass display is great for our customers. The doors on this reach in freezer are crystal clear glass which allows our customers to see all the inventory inside.
After initially turning this reach in freezer on it takes an hour for the Freon to kick in. After that the temperature gets lower and holds at around 0°F. This reach in freezer works on a condensing unit which means when the temperature is too cool the compressor turns off, and in contrary once it gets to hot the compressor turns on.
This model has the compressor mounted in the bottom, although i have heard top mounted compressors circulate the air better. Any how this model works great for us and our relationship with Elite restaurant equipment continues to grow.Posted on 9/13/2014 by Ken Houk
